ACC dumb fcuks

Am i the only one or has anyone else noticed how fucked up the traffic light system is with the Adelaide City Council. I have the pleasure of driving from the Adelaide GPO (cnr king william and franklin) every afternoon around 3pm to the SA Uni library (cnr nth tce and frome) total distance 1.5km (1500 metres)
This trip takes on average 8 minutes.....Ha you think whats 8 minutes in the greater scheme of traffic movement.
Well I'll explain, firstly you stop at the lights at King William then at Gawler Place then Wyatt and Pultney, Frome, Pirie,Grenfell, Rundle streets and Nth Terrace. Can you see the common denominator here? that's right these traffic lights are perfectly sequenced so that you stop at every one. Am i the only frustrated motorist that notices this or is it because i do this trip everyday....fuck knows!
Lets put this in perspective my average speed is 11.25kph (why do we have 50kph speed limits) and in 1896 Edwin Flack the well known Australian Olympic runner won gold in the 1500m race in a time of 4.33.2m, so 115yrs ago a person could have run where i drive and nearly back again in the same time as it takes me to go there once
